Pm₅₇

Sandy, gritty, empty, vast
Full of memories of the past
Lost to time and lost to space
Seen before yet unknown place

Branches, thorns, roots, maybe leaves,
Covering each spot that gives,
Full of life and of decay,
Eat leftovers, soak up day

Rusty, moldy, broken down,
Sometimes blue but mostly brown,
Used to work and used to play
Daily duties couldn't stay

Worried, stubborn, dead but free
To walk miles or not to be,
How to think and how to breathe,
Body is becoming stiff

Circling, gawking, hungry growl,
Sand collapses like a bowl,
One with you and one with me,
Look around it's plain to see

Pm₅₆

Step by step, towards the unknown,
salvation or abyss, enthrone
the thoughts of forking paths sometime,
which one ends in a pool of grime,
which one will barely miss it's edge,
how can I know, how should I pledge,

Pm₅₅

My blood starts to boil hot,
I can look away not,
My breath starts escaping,
A fury,
I am emanating,

While people would rather,
Say plan is apparent,
What should realize will,
Than fight it,
Spew the destiny pill

The quarks won't reverse spin,
To bring to you your dream,
Don't dare make me annoyed,
When I go,
Screaming into the void

Pm₅₀

Shy shimmer,
shards of a shadow,
fast flow,
flowing free,

Harsh hurt,
Has home in the heart,
blooming blue,
beating blood

Green grass,
Grows ghost of gloom,
Stern steps,
Start strolling away.

Window

One day with my window slightly ajar,
I sat, inside has fallen a star,
Right on my lap it landed,
Right to my heart it bonded.

I said to the little star: "Why me?",
For most of my life I just drunk tea,
Alone, with cats and books and sounds,
A stone has life more worth applauds.

The star just looked at me confused,
And felt the warmth of what had fused
With her, engulfed her familiar pain,
Bothered not she had to feel again
